WE ARE PROUD THAT...

We recognise the importance of monitoring our current activity and understand the impact we have on our planet. On an annual basis we calculate the metrics to see how we improve each year. This allows us to set achievable goals and ensure we are contributing towards protecting the planet.

All our business sites’ electricity supplies use 100% REGO backed renewable sources provided by EON making MHR an A rated consumer. Year on year, we aim to reduce our electricity usage by 3 per cent and our gas usage by 2 per cent, normalised for growth and expanded operations. Therefore, in 2023 we opted for biogas over fossil fuels, as an environmentally friendly, renewable energy source, this move has enabled us to reduce our carbon emissions by 38.4% in 2023.

The combination of using sustainable and renewable resources across our supply chain where possible, and using local suppliers plays a vital part in minimising our impact on the planet.

As one of our local suppliers, Stepnell are dedicated to the responsible development of our infrastructure.
We have invested in the development of two new office spaces at our Mere Way Site.
The beautiful Ruddington Hall is piece of English Heritage and is maintained by our building and local ground maintenance teams.
Our food provider, Olive Catering, use fresh, locally sourced and environmentally sustainable ingredients for all their meals.
